*I made this for The Radical Hotel ‘s group show, Cycle 7: Lucky. The theme being “Lucky” and finding myself in the situation I am in while making this made me reflect on how fast anyones luck can change. No matter where you come from or what you are, luck is never fixed it changes shape throughout our lives, revealing itself in both moments of loss and unexpected hope. To see this painting CLICK HERE or see it in person at The Radical Hotel’s gallery on the same floor as their restaurant “Golden Hour”.

What is going on in Venezuela is tragic and when your family is involved you really feel it. I chose to deal with my emotions by creating my first GoFund Me to help my family and changing direction on a painting I was working on for a show. I now wanted to deal with my feelings on the canvas to then use it as a tool to bring awareness and aid as proceeds of the painting will be donated.

* My new “Love More” painting is up and ready to find its new home! I’ve also made new stickers, check them all out in my shop!

* If you’re local or visiting Asheville, NC make sure to also stop by The Grey Eagle for a show and some tasty tacos, so you can sit outback in the patio, enjoy the summer breeze and see my mural “LOVE MORE”.
